In recent years, vegetable production in greenhouses has developed to gain a firm foothold in Russian agriculture. The positive outcome of this year’s harvest so far is typical of the industry which has been growing since 2014. The main crops are cucumbers and tomatoes.
Most greenhouses currently in operation were built 20-25 years ago. Therefore, many installations are in need of modernisation, others require a complete change of equipment. An ideal market place to connect demand and supply would be YUGAGRO fair (Kasnodar, 24-27 November)
