Expoagro 2027
Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Plant ProductionThe Exhibition
The event Expoagro will take place from March 9 to 12, 2027, at the Autódromo de San Nicolás, located 225 km from Buenos Aires. Expoagro is considered one of South America’s leading platforms for agricultural machinery and equipment as well as livestock production. In addition to live demonstrations of agricultural machines, the more than 250,000 visitors can obtain information on plant breeding and seeds at various test fields. In 2026, more than 700 exhibitors participated in the event.
Once again, there will be an official German Pavilion commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Regional Identity and supported by Auma. German companies and their Argentine subsidiaries benefit from the joint presentation through:
- More favorable conditions compared to a direct individual participation
- High visibility and strong attention generated by the German Pavilion
- Attractive booth construction and presentation under the “Made in Germany” umbrella brand
- Use of a lounge for customer meetings, including catering
- Digital promotion via www.german-pavilion.com
- Organizational support by the implementing company before and during the trade fair
Registration will be possible from autumn via the following link:

The Market
Argentina remains one of the world’s leading agricultural nations and possesses enormous production capacities. The agricultural market is estimated at USD 26.2 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to USD 30.37 billion by 2030.
Argentina is among the top exporters of soybeans, corn, vegetable oil, and beef. The agricultural and food sector accounts for around two-thirds of the country’s total exports. Major buyers include the EU, China, Chile, and the Middle East. Soy plays a particularly important role: Argentina is one of the world’s largest producers and supplies high‑quality products such as soybean meal, oil, and biodiesel—essential for global feed and energy supply chains.
The country increasingly relies on modern technologies such as digital control systems, satellite monitoring, and automated machinery. These innovations enable efficient and sustainable farm management and strengthen competitiveness in the international market. The German‑Argentine Dialogue on Agriculture further supports the development of climate‑ and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
Livestock production also remains a core sector: South America’s renowned beef continues to stand for high quality and remains an important export product.
Argentina’s economic situation is stabilizing: inflation fell from 25.5% (2023) to 2.1% in September 2025, and economic growth of around 5% is expected for 2026. The ratification process of the EU–Mercosur Agreement began in 2025 and is creating additional momentum – particularly in the agricultural sector. The agreement removes tariffs on over 90% of traded goods, resulting in lower costs and fewer market entry barriers for German companies.
