Agri-Trade Equipment Expo 2026 will be held from 11 to 13 November, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada and attracts annually over 30,000 qualified Agriculture Buyers and over 630 equipment manufacturers and Agricultural Services to Red Deer.

From seed to harvest, the Agri-Trade displays the latest equipment, showcases the most innovative technology and offers opportunities to help farmers prepare for the upcoming planting and growing season.

Agri-Trade is considered one of the best agricultural equipment shows in Canada, generating an estimated $300,000,000.00 annually in equipment sales.

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity again supports German exhibitors and their Canadian subsidiaries with a German Pavilion.

The Market

With 637 000 km² 7% of Canada’s 9.1 Mio. km² arable land are being cultivated. The arable land size has grown from 28 Mio. ha in 2011 to 31.7 Mio. ha in 2016. Wheat (10 Mio. ha), rapeseed (8,3 Mio. ha), barley (2.8 Mio. ha), soy beans (2.0 Mio. ha) and lentils (1.7 Mio. ha) are the main crops. The average farm size has seen a rise from 315 ha in 2011 to 332 ha in 2016 following a worldwide trend of less but larger farms.
