The 12th edition of the Canadian Dairy XPO will take place on April 1–2, 2026, at the Rotary Complex in Stratford, Ontario.
The 2025 edition of the Canadian Dairy XPO was once again a major success, attracting 17,600 visitors over two days in Stratford, Ontario. With 350 exhibitors and now organized under the leadership of the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the event has reaffirmed its position as a key gathering for Canada’s dairy producers.
According to a visitor survey, 82% of attendees were active dairy farmers, and 51% reported having more than CAD 8 million in operational capital. An impressive 98% of respondents plan to attend again in 2026.
The Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Home Affairs (BMLEH) supports German companies, their subsidiaries, and distribution partners with a joint stand at the trade fair. The goal is to enhance the visibility of German agricultural technology and dairy solutions on the international stage.
The Market
The Canadian dairy industry is a vital part of the agricultural sector and operates under a government-regulated supply management system that balances supply and demand. Canada produces large quantities of milk, cheese, butter, and yogurt each year, with a market volume exceeding 15 billion US dollars in 2024.
The provinces of Québec and Ontario are the main production regions and home to the majority of the country’s dairy farms. Sustainability and animal welfare are becoming increasingly important, alongside growing investments in modern technology and digitalization.
