iFood 2018

The Exhibition

iFood 2018 is an outstanding business platform for international and local companies in the field of food, food processing, grain treatment and packaging.

With 223 exhibitors from 20 countries and a top-class conference organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), iFood once again became the center of attention of leading international companies from the food sector. As many as 17,000 visitors came to the exhibition. Companies from Iran, Germany, China, Turkey, India, Russia, Poland and others demonstrated a full variety of the latest products and technology for the food and food processing industries to local and international visitors.

The 19th edition of iFood will take place from 25 to 28 of August, 2018 at Mashhad International Exhibition Center.

The Market

Mashhad is, with over three million inhabitants, the second largest city in Iran and the most important hub for food and food processing in Iran.

Some 880 companies are active in Razavi Khorasan Province, almost all of which (98 percent) are privately owned. New dairy plants, bakeries and meat processing factories use European technology, thereby setting the standards for food safety, waste minimization and packaging. The main regional products are flour, sunflower oil, canned fruits and vegetables, meat, bakery and dairy products, sugar, sweets, non-alcoholic beer, juice, soft drinks and convenience food. Due to growing local demand some Iranian producers of food processing machinery have set up production facilities in the region already.
