Food Processing and PackagingThe Exhibition
Since 2012 MAFEX-Pack2Pack has been developed to an international renowned food industry Exhibition. Companies exhibit food products, ingredients, machinery and equipment for the food processing industry, packaging and labeling technology, cooling and storage systems as well as transport and logistics.
Also this year the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supports this exhibition with a German Pavilion. Other national pavilions which will take part are from Egypt, China, Tunesia and Poland.
The German Agricultural Society (DLG) will organize a round table with experts of the food industry:
Discussion Session 1: December 14, 2016 from 2 pm – 3 pm, Topic: “Problems and solutions in food production”
Discussion Session 2: December 14, 2016 from 4 pm – 5 pm, Topic: “Cold chain applications in Moroccan food production”
The entrance for this exhibition is free of charge. The opening hours are from 10 am – 6 pm.

The Market
The Moroccan government wants to develop the local food industry to attain the self-sufficiency and to become the in order to exporter of high quality food products. Nowadays, the demand for food products cannot be satisfied, therefore Morocco is highly dependent on imports. This opens up good possibilities for imports of food products and processing machines in to Morocco. Several promotional programs by the Moroccan government support the development of the food industry in the country.
