Azerbaijan has it all – a growing economy, oil&gas, a stabile government and maybe soon – fingers crossed- a long awaited peace accord with neighbouring Armenia. So the country should in a good position to realize her potential in regard to agriculture and food food production. The long established Caspian Agro / InterFood Azerbaijan in Baku is well attended even on the third day. The visit of President Aliyev on the second day was a rather mixed blessing. After the assassination attempt on the Slovak PM security in Baku was super tight, effectively closing the show till the afternoon. But the organiser made the best of it and managed to bring in an amazing number of visitors immediately after. This years show was quite international with #Germanpavillon (Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft ) Dutch, Polish, Czech, Belarusian, Georgian, Uzbek and Italian national pavilions.
