Successful start of the exhibition year – Agro Animal Show / Grain Tech Expo / Fruit.Vegetables.Logistics 2021 in Kyiv.
With 266 exhibitors and more than 11.000 visitors Agro Animal Show / Grain Tech Expo / Fruit.Vegetables.Logistics 2021 took place despite all odds in Kyiv/Ukraine. Farmers, business professionals and experts came together from 16 – 18 February to see the latest trends in agribusiness. 19 German companies joined the official German Pavilion as well as seven Dutch companies the Netherlands pavilion organized by the Dutch Embassy in Kyiv.
The German Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD Ukraine) and IFWexpo Heidelberg organised a conference focusing on the strategic development of the Ukrainian agrarian sector by 2030 which was held live and virtually. During the three hours session the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, Taras Visotzky outlined the plans for the Ukrainian agriculture whereas the Parliamentary State Secretary, Uwe Feiler, focused on how social expectations will change agrarian policy on animal welfare and climate change. Frank Müller, agricultural counsellor at the German Embassy in Kyiv, emphasized the potential of the diversified agriculture in Ukraine which also shows the good participation results of the German Pavilion in times of the pandemic.
