The Exhibition

This year Antalya will host the international trade fair for livestock and dairy industry for the 5th time. Animall Antalya is a specialized exhibition for modern technologies and products in the field of animal husbandry, which includes such topics as feeding and additives, milking and cooling technology, barn and transport equipment. Moreover, such areas as aquaculture, biogas and renewable energy will be in the center of the exhibition. This event attracts the great interest from industry professionals, companies as well as journalists.

The Market

Owning to the low production costs, its favorable geographical location and climate conditions, Turkey has good conditions for its agricultural sector that enables to produce a wide variety of agricultural products. Therefore, Turkey is emerging as an increasingly important exporter of agricultural products.

At the intensive stock farming in Turkey, 60%-70% of the farm expenses are subject to animal feed. In poultry, stocking this number goes up to 70%-80%. Compound feed show its importance with a large share of feed expenses and as a Primary resource of animal feeding. On the other hand, it is remarkable that all feed expenses of poultry sector are build by compound feed. The largest share of total compound feed production in 2014 belongs to the dairy cattle feed. In 2014, 2.4 million tons of dairy cattle feed production are followed by 2.6 Million tons if Broiler feed. Egg feed is on the third place with 2 Million tons, while cattle fattening feed ranks fourth with 1.5 Million tons. The amount of the other compound feed production in 2014 is 1.5 Million tons.
