In view of the corona pandemic the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) decided to lower the participation cost for the exhibitors to support German companies in these hard times: Cost and Registration documents

Also, the cancellation policy of the German Pavilion has been adjusted: In case of postponements/cancellations of exhibitions, travel restrictions or other reasons in relation to the Corona pandemic you can withdraw your participation without any cancellations fee. The Market

The imposed import ban on food has led to a steady increase of domestic food production in Russia. International manufacturer of agricultural, food and packaging machines are not affected by the import ban so that they benefit from increased investments of Russian manufacturers in the modernization of their facilities, especially for crop, meat and milk processing.

Another billion rubles of subsidies will be made available for the agriculture and food industry by 2020 in order to enforce independence from food imports in the next seven years. Despite the increase, domestic manufacturers can only supply about 18 percent so that the Russian food industry still heavily relies on imports.

Moreover, Russian consumers are adjusting their diet to their lifestyle. Market research institutes forecast that the demand for convenience products will increase by about 7 percent to 28.6 million tons in the next three years. In order to meet the growing consumers demands on appearance, shape and freshness of food, food processing companies will need more and more systems that process products of high quality and pack them in a modern and attractive way.
