The International Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Tools for Plant and Animal Production “AgroExpoSiberia-2019” and the Forum “Siberian Agriculture: Present and Future” took place from 29 to 31 October in the Agricultural Centre of Siberia, in Barnaul.

This year AgroExpoSiberia recorded a significant increase in the number of exhibitors: 77 companies from Russia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Kazakhstan took part. The number of visitors to the fair and the forum increased by 60% compared to the previous year and amounted to 2,060 trade visitors. They came not only from the Altei region and other Siberian regions such as Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk, but also from Moscow and the Moscow region as well as from Belgorod and Voronezh. Other visitors came from Kazakhstan and Germany. A highlight of the exhibition was the German Pavilion organized by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). It brought together a number of large German companies presenting modern technologies and equipment for plant production and animal husbandry.
