The agricultural fair SAHARA took place this week in Cairo

This week, the agricultural show SAHARA took place at EIEC in Cairo/Egypt. Germany was presented with the Official German Pavilion organized by the federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Seven German companies: Agrokraft, BAG Budissa, LEMKEN, PÖTTINGER Landtechnik, RAUCH Landmaschinenfabrik, STEP Systems, Strube D&S, showed their products “Made in Germany” during the fair.

All together 225 exhibitors from 22 countries showcased their latest products and services to 17,000 visitors at he the 35th of the biggest agricultural show in the Middle East and Northern Africa SAHARA.

The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation,  El-Sayed El-Quseir the exhibition in the presence of Dr. Sherif Al-Jabali, the President of the Chamber of Chemical Industries at the Federation of Industries along with Hanaa Youssef, Sahara Exhibition director, and Hani Khafagy, the General Manager of Informa, the organizing company of the exhibition, were also in attendance, delegations from African and non-African countries, including the Hosted Buyer delegation for the first time this year.
