The Exhibition

FoodExpo Qazaqstan is a major exhibition showcasing the best products from the Kazakhstan food, food technology and beverage market. FoodExpo Qazaqstan has become a key meeting point for the industry, attracting thousands of visitors from Kazakhstan and other regions of Central Asia. In 2025, more than 412 exhibitors from 34 countries presented their products related to food, food technology, bakery, and HORECA to 9,082 trade visitors from 46 countries.

The Market

Kazakhstan’s food industry is a key economic driver, contributing approximately 13% to the country’s GDP. The food processing sector continues to grow steadily, with annual production increases of around 5–7%.

In 2023, Kazakhstan’s bakery market alone was valued at approximately $2 billion, reflecting strong demand for baked goods. The adoption of advanced food technologies has surged, with investments increasing by over 10% annually to enhance production efficiency and food safety.

The government actively supports this sector, aiming to expand capacity and competitiveness within Central Asia. The country also hosts major food exhibitions, such as FoodExpo Qazaqstan, which attract exhibitors and visitors from around the world to promote innovation and trade in food, food processing equipment, dairy processing equipment, confectionery and bakery, meat and fish processing, meat and poultry, frozen foods, pasta and ravioli production lines, packaging and packaging technology, refrigeration technology, and supermarket equipment.
