On April 24^th the Ministry of Agriculture Altai Region and representatives of regional professional associations, producers and dealers of well-known agricultural machinery & inputs such as Rostselmash, Horsch, Krone, John Deere, Siloking, BASF and Altai based VELES met with the trade show organizers DLG RUS and IFWexpo Heidelberg to set up an advisory committee.

Suitable topics and speakers of the seminar program were at the core of the intensive discussion. The participants agreed that Barnaul is well suited to become the focal point for the discussion of the specific western Siberian challenges of agriculture: climate, products & processing, logistics and export.

From October, 29^th to 31^st Barnaul becomes again the heart of Russian agriculture east of Ural. The German Ministry of Agriculture and Food supports the show for the second time with a German Pavillon. The organizers expect also active participation of Russian and European companies as well as representatives from China and Kazakhstan.
