On Friday, May 5, 2023, Chancellor Scholz will meet with Kenyan President Ruto in Nairobi. Germany and Kenya have agreed to cooperate more closely in the fields of agriculture and green energy production. In addition, Kenya has become an important partner in global issues and security topics especially in regard to Russias war on Ukraine.
