The Exhibition

Agritec Africa has been taking place in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, since 2014. The trade fair is an ideal trade fair platform for making and building contacts in the agriculture, livestock, dairy and grain industries. Last year, 185 exhibitors presented their products to over 8,500 visitors from Kenya and neighboring countries.

The Market

Kenya’s agriculture sector directly influences overall economic performance through its contribution to GDP Periods of high economic growth rates have been synonymous with increased agricultural growth.

Kenya is a leading producer of tea and coffee, as well as third leading exporter of fresh produce, such as cabbage, onions and mangoes. Small farms grow most of the corn and also produce potatoes, beans
and peas.

Kenya Vision 2030 was launched in 2008 as Kenya’s development blueprint covering the period 2008 to 2030 It was aimed at making Kenya a newly industrializing,industrializing,“middle income country providing
highquality life for all its citizens by the year 2030. Government will also focus on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by world leaders in 2015 to embody a roadmap that is sustainable and leaves no one behinds.
