19 - 21 March
Vladivostok, Russia

The Exhibition

The 2nd edition of AgroExpoVostok brings together professionals, investors, leading manufacturers and suppliers of machinery & equipment of the agricultural sector as well as representatives of government and industry organisations. Companies from Russia, Germany, the United States, Sweden and Great Britain present their solutions at the exhibition. The exhibition has confirmed its international status – more than half of the participants were manufacturers from foreign countries.

It successfully became a format to effectively promote products and services, acquire new customers and enter into mutually beneficial contracts with regional business partners.

The next edition of AgroExpoVostok will be held from March 19 – 21, 2019. The exhibition will be again accompanied by a comprehensive technical program.

The Market

The Far East is Russia’s largest district, a place of rapid change and, due to the proximity to the highly developed APEC region, of significant strategic importance. It has been the target of national trade policies and Russia’s prime receiver of financial subsidies.

AgroExpoVostok takes place in the heart of the region‘s agriculture centre near Vladivostok in the climatically favorable southern regions close to the Chinese borderlands. The Far East‘s agricultural production extends across 4.7 hectares of agricultural land. Almost 90 percent of it is located in the south and centre of the Far East. The output ranges from fish farming, cultivation of soybean, grain, vegetables and potatoes to dairy and beef cattle breeding. The „free port of Vladivostok“ entices foreign companies with reduced tax rates and other privileges.

Fueled by Chinese demand, the region produces 50% of all Russian soybeans. It is also a recipient of a state agriculture investment fund of 8.4 bln. Rubel between 2017-2022 and a Chinese investment fund of 2 bln. USD since 2015. The substantial investments lead to a shift from extensive crop cultivation towards industrial scale agriculture processing, which requires greater upfront capital and modern agriculture machinery.
